Divisions

RX
(MM, FF, MF)

This a division for those that can do the workout written on the board ninety percent of the time or more. These athletes are proficient in all of the technical lifts, and can do some, if not all, of the high-skill gymnastics movements seen in the CrossFit Open and other CrossFit competitions. (Having muscle ups is not a requirement for this division, however, it is a good idea that someone on your team can do them.)

INTERMEDIATE
(MM, FF, MF)

This is the division for athletes who are not quite at the level of RX competitors but are familiar with CrossFit. Around fifty percent of the time (or more), these athletes can do the workouts written on the board. Athletes here should be able to do some of the more complex lifts and movements, though they may be lacking in either strength or skill. These athletes may have participated in other local competitions before.

NOVICE
(MM, FF, MF)

These athletes may be newer to competing in CrossFit, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t want to compete. Athletes in this division modify the majority of all daily workouts. For many in this division, this could be their very first competition. Expect lighter weights and lower skilled movement.
